Try not to use more than one render per tag. It's hard to have 2 focal points.
Some of your works have really messy backgrounds and unneeded effects on the renders.
Your text is bad too. Rule of the thirds ;o
Your renders are good, though. Nice clean cuts.
Read up on tutorials and whatnot.

Will do on the tutorials, especially with the text. The ones with the messy backgrounds (particularly #4, 5, and 6 on the signatures) was when I first started out so they look, well, messy.

The image in front of the background and the background itself has to be 2 different layers on Adobe Photoshop so you can change the background as you wish while keeping whatever the image is. Otherwise you have to extract the image of a character you want and turn it into a .png image with a transparent background first.
